ROY HODGSON is set to complete his first signing for Blackburn this week with Swiss international Stephane Henchoz expected to seal a £3 million move from German club Hamburg.

The 22-year-old defender was brought into the professional game by Hodgson during his spell in charge of Neuchatel Xamax and later made his international debut when the newly-installed Rovers boss took over the Swiss national side.
