BRITISH and Irish Lions lock Nathan Hines (pictured) has been given a one-week ban for a dangerous tackle.

The Scotland forwards tackle on lock Wilhelm Steenkamp went unpunished in Tuesdays 13-13 draw with the Emerging Springboks but was later singled out by Citing Commissioner Steve Hinds.

Hines will not be available for Saturdays second Test against South Africa, although he has 24 hours to lodge an appeal.
