THE army of young volunteers are a hallmark of every Olympics, but not all are wet behind the ears. Certainly not Charles Fram, who joined the ranks on July 6th, his 94th birthday.

A former publisher, Atlanta's oldest volunteer is working in the religious centre of the Olympic Village, on the Georgia Tech campus, which he first attended in 1919.
