If we are to believe all the rumours Alex Ferguson was all set to sign Argentina's Carlos Roa as Peter Schmeichel's replacement for next season. There's a problem though: Roa, word has it, has become a member of the Seventh Day Adventist religious order. It's not that Alex has anything against the religion, it's just that strict Seventh Day Adventists refuse to work on Saturdays and believe the world is going to end in 2001. So he would only be available Sundays to Fridays and couldn't sign a contract beyond the 2000-2001 season. Oh well, Mark Bosnich it will have to be.
