ARMAGH:PAUL GRIMLEY was last night unanimously appointed manager of the Armagh footballers in succession to Paddy O'Rourke, whose assistant he was.

Another member of the outgoing management team, Brendan Hughes, was appointed as assistant to Grimley, who has also worked in Kildare, Monaghan, Cavan and Meath.

Grimley was assistant to Joe Kernan when Armagh won the All-Ireland for the first time in 2002.
