RANGERS captain Richard Gough was arguably the most significant absentee as Scotland manager Craig Brown named a coverall eventualities squad for a training session at Troon on March 4th-5th.

But Everton's Duncan Ferguson and Kevin Gallacher of Blackburn are back in the fold after lengthy absences for contrasting reasons. Even Celtic defender Brian O'Neil, after only two full games this season, was included in the party.
