AMERICAN FOOTBALL:THE NEW York Giants beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-14 in a match-up of division leaders on Sunday, scoring 12 points in the fourth quarter to secure the road victory.

Eli Manning capped the comeback by tossing a two-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Boss with 3:07 left at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. The defending Super Bowl champions improved to 6-1 on the season, while the Steelers fell to 5-2.

The New York Jets also pulled out a fourth-quarter win during week eight of the season, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 28-24 at home on Brett Favre's 15-yard touchdown pass to Laveranues Coles with one minute left.

The New Orleans Saints beat the San Diego Chargers 37-32, giving London fans an offensive show as the NFL returned to Wembley Stadium in front of a crowd of 83,226.

"I think it went as well as it could go," the NFL's managing director in Britain Alistair Kirkwood said. "As a spectacle for people who are new to the sport you had 69 points, some big plays and a game going down to the last second. There was a great atmosphere."
