IRELAND A second row forward Shane Leahy has joined Garryowen from Lansdowne. Leahy, who had played for Garryowen before he moved to Dublin last season, has taken up a position in Limerick and is eligible to play for Garryowen immediately under the rules of the competition as his move is job related.

Meanwhile, Bristol have made an approach to Garryowen's international number eight Ben Cronin. Ireland internationals Paul Burke and David Corkery play for Bristol.
