GALWAY LTC and Sutton fly the flag for Ireland at the European Squash Club Championships in Munich this afternoon, with the Connacht club competing in the women's event, while the Sutton men's team is led by Eoin Ryan.

Both sides look to have bee drawn in formidable groups, with Galway up against German champions Gutersloher SC and Nykoping of Sweden.

Sutton, meanwhile, face leading English side Queens, who will at least be without their best players due to commitments on the men's international circuit, and Linkoping from Sweden.

Two of Ireland's overseas players will also be in action at the event with Laura Lynch from Galway competing for Valencia, while Stevie Richardson will lead his Glasgow club, Scottish Newlands.
