WINGER Philippe Saint-Andre and flanker Philippe Benetton have been recalled to a reshuffled French squad to play Italy in Grenoble next Saturday.

Former captain Saint-Andre missed all four matches of France's successful Five Nations' campaign with a groin injury, while Benetton was absent from the last three games because of a broken jaw.

Skipper Abdel Benazzi, who led France to their 47-20 victory over Scotland on Saturday, felt he needed a rest and is not among a 21-strong squad containing a number of new faces.
