BBAZILIAN driver Christian Fittipaldi, who faces at least two months out of action after breaking his leg in a high-speed IndyCar crash, said yesterday he planned toe return to racing.

Fittipaldi needed a 14-inch metal rod inserted in his right leg after badly fracturing his shin bone in two places during the Australian IndyCar grand prix at Queensland's Surfers Paradise on Sunday.

"If I can be 100 per cent then I don't see any reason why I should not get back into the car," Fittipaldi said from his hospital bed in Queensland.
