Eddie Cox has been appointed commercial projects consultant to the FAI for an interim period. It follows the resignation of Donie Butler who resigned as commercial manager last month.

Cox, a highly respected personality in Irish football who was a candidate for the vice presidency of the association earlier in the year, will take up the appointment immediately.
