All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship Semi-finals:Tommy Larkins of Galway and Clonkill of Westmeath will clash in the decider after yesterday's wins over Clare's Clonlara and Armagh's Keady respectively.

A second-half goal by corner-forward Mickey Fahy proved decisive in Nenagh, with Tommy Larkins eventually overcoming Clonlara 1-11 to 0-11.

Clonlara also had the ball in the back of the net early in the second half - when Tommy Lynch netted after a reverse hand-pass from Donach Honan close to the end-line - but the umpire deemed Honan to have carried the sliotar over the line and the goal was duly disallowed.

In Ballybay, a sharper Clonkill proved too strong for Keady - the Westmeath side winning 1-10 to 1-4.
