Experimental match: The vast gulf in experience and maturity was reflected in Leinster A's comprehensive 51-15 defeat of Ireland Under-20s in an experimental match divided into three 30-minute periods at Donnybrook last night.

There was a world of difference up front where Ronnie McCormack and Richie Leyden both bagged a brace.

The set of eight was completed by captain Sean O'Brien, Brian Blaney, Kevin Sheahan and Shane Monahan. Tries from Old Belvedere centre Eoin O'Malley and Wanderers wing Paddy Brophy offered token resistance.
