The European Commission, yesterday, warned UEFA it must accept last month's European Court of Justice decision ruling the football transfer system illegal under European law or face tough sanctions.
The court abolished the existing limits on three foreigners in a team, saying that EU clubs could play as many EU nationals as they wanted.
