WOMEN'S FOOTBALL SENIOR SEMI-FINAL/Dublin v Laois:IT'S JUST six weeks since Dublin and Laois clashed in the TG4 Leinster senior final.

Captain Denise Masterson led Dublin to a 2-13 to 0-9 victory on that ocasion, their third successive provincial senior title.

Laois, however, will feel that they under-performed that day and will be looking forward to having a chance for revenge after defeating Monaghan in the All-Ireland quarter-final.

Dublin – who lost the All-Ireland final last season by a single point to Cork – had to overcome Clare to book their place in this evening’s semi-final. With Tyrone bringing an end to Cork’s recent dominance of the sport at senior level, Dublin will be anxious not to let a golden opportunity slip again.

In the curtain-raiser at Dr Cullen Park, Waterford meet Cavan in the intermediate semi-final at 4.15pm.

And in the junior semi-finals, Wexford and Limerick meet in Freshford at 2pm, while Louth take on Derry in Emyvale at 2pm.
