Dublin 2-14 Longford 1-5: HOLDERS Dublin advanced to the last four of the Leinster MFC following a 12-point win over 12-man Longford at Parnell Park last Saturday afternoon.

Conor McHugh’s eighth-minute goal and two points apiece from David Campbell, Shane Cunningham and Shane Carthy helped Dublin to a 1-9 to 0-3 interval lead.

Longford had Liam O’Sullivan and then goalscorer Larry Moran sent off before Robbie Gaughan’s superb late goal sealed Dublin’s victory. Longford full back Cian Farrelly was also sent off late on.
