Dublin hurlers recorded a facile win over an Antrim side that bore only passing resemblance to that listed in the official programme at Parnell Park yesterday.

Centre-forward Colin Fetherston scored Dublin's first goal in the 13th minute and corner forward Emmet Carroll added a second five minutes before half-time. Two minutes later the match was over as a contest when wing-forward Tomas McGrane goaled from close range, to help Dublin to a 3-10 to 1-4 half-time lead.

Three more goals, one each from Carroll and McGrane, and one by Niall Butler in the first 10 minutes of the second half killed off the game.
