Late points by Timmy Doyle and Wayne McCarthy gave Dublin a place in the Leinster Minor Football Championship semifinals after their 2-8 to 0-13 win over Kildare.

Dublin dominated the first hall, and goals by Ciaran Doyle and James Gahan gave them a 2-5 to 0-6 interval lead.

Kildare turned the tables in the second half and seven unanswered points gave them the lead for only the second time in the 48th minute, before Dublin regained the initiative.
