Dublin 1-16 Westmeath 2-7:A 60th-MINUTE goal from substitute Oisín O'Rorke confirmed Dublin's place in next Sunday's Leinster minor final following their merited six-point win at Parnell Park on Saturday evening.

The visitors were given the perfect start when Niall O’Brien’s speculative shot found the net in the opening minute but the Dubs settled sufficiently with all six forwards scoring from play as they led by 0-11 to 1-3 at the interval.

Westmeath full-forward David Higgins found the net in the 41st minute but points from Glenn Whelan, substitute Brian McCarthy and O’Rorke’s late goal sealed a meeting with holders Kilkenny at Croke Park next week.
