Ireland's young Davis Cup player, John Doran, gave himself the chance of a fine farewell present by reaching the final of the ITF K-Swiss sponsored world junior tournament at Riverview Doran, who will soon start a four year scholarship at Harvard, beat Britain's Ainsley Kershaw in straight sets.

It was an authoritive display by Doran, who completed the job in 55 minutes the second set went to love in 17 minutes. He meets another British entry, Daniel Crawley, in today's final.

Claire Curran is through to the girls' final after beating Helen Reesby of Britain 6-3 6-0. She faces Nicola Woodhouse of Britain in today's decider (11.0am).
