DIT 1-21 Kildare 1-16:DIT led all the way to end Kildare's interest in the Kehoe Cup at Newbridge yesterday.

Brendan McInerney opened the DIT account, and further points came from Seán Burke and Owen Nolan, before wing back Fiachra Ó Muineachain landed Kildare's first score.

Kildare rallied towards the end of the first half and cut the deficit lead to by 0-11 to 0-8 at the break.

DIT got the ideal start to the second half, as a Declan O'Dwyer goal ended any chance of a Kildare recovery.
