Danoli is set to make a quick reappearance over two miles at Naas on Saturday following his weekend third to Micko's Dream.

Trainer Tom Foley blamed the sticky going for the defeat and added yesterday: "I was disappointed afterwards because I expected him to win. He was very tired, in fact he was so tired he looked half drunk, but he's fine this morning and if the ground is loose at Naas we might enter him."

Danoli remains a 50 to 1 shot for the Gold Cup but Foley stressed that any decision about that race won't be made "until the last minute".
