GER CUSH, the Wexford full back, looks set to miss the Leinster senior hurling championship semifinal against Dublin on Sunday week. Cush damaged an ankle in a county hurling league game on Friday evening and was detained in Waterford General Hospital.

The Wexford team management are awaiting a medical report on the extent of the injury, but are resigned to the fact that he will miss the Dublin clash.

The selectors are also concerned about the fitness of corner forward

Paul Codd who was forced to retire during his club Rathnure's county league game with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Tipperary's Conor Gleeson is ruled out of the squad for Saturday's Munster senior hurling championship semi final against Kerry at Tralee. He was sent off in a club match yesterday and is automatically suspended.

Better news or Tipperary is that Raymie Ryan, who was injured in the win over Waterford, has resumed training.
