JAMES Courtney of Crumlin, Co Antrim, was the star of the 75th Anniversary Cookstown 100 road races on Saturday in wet conditions over the six miles Sherrygroom circuit at Stewartstown, Co Antrim.

Courtney won the Grand Final Cookstown 100 race on a 750cc Honda. Earlier Courtney finished second to Joey Dunlop, both riding 250cc Hondas in the Open Race.
