THE MUNSTER Council of the GAA have convened a special meeting for Limerick this evening to decide on a venue for the Munster hurling final between Clare and Tipperary.

They are expected to give the nod to Pairc Ui Chaoimh over the Limerick Gaelic Grounds. There is a capacity of around 45,000, 30,000 seated, at the Cork venue whereas Limerick has a seating capacity of just 10,000.
