CONNACHT UNDER-21 FC SEMI-FINALS: Roscommon 0-15 Leitrim 0-6:ROSCOMMON, THE reigning champions, were too strong for Leitrim at Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday.

The sides were level after 17 minutes, Niall O’Connor and Connor Beirne scoring for Leitrim while Eugene Stritch and Darren McDermott replied with points for Roscommon.

Points from Niall Kilroy (two), Scott Oates, Niall Daly and Darren McDermott helped Roscommon establish a 0-8 to 0-3 interval lead and when Shane Regan and Kilroy extended the lead and there was no way back for Leitrim.
