Mark Coates kept the Lumsden Cup on the north side of Dublin when he beat a strong field to take the Leinster Championship over 54 holes at Forrest Little last weekend.

The six handicapper from Sutton was an all-the-way winner with a three-round total of 209. Coates had six shots to spare over Eoin Arthurs from Forrest Little with Paddy O'Sullivan from Co Louth third, two shot further back.
