Co Louth cleared the first hurdle in the defence of their Bulmers All-Ireland Senior Cup crown when they qualified at Greenore for the Leinster finals. They will now meet Elm Park in the Leinster quarterfinals at Rathsallagh after Sunday's 3-2 win over Dundalk. Bryan Ronan and David Gannon gave Co Louth a perfect start with wins over Robert White and Peter Tuite. Dundalk came back to square the match when Dermot Murphy beat Barry Reddan in the top match and Peter Rogers beat Gareth Bohill on the 18th. Nigel Beirth saw Co Louth through with a one-hole win over Simon Watters.
