Changing fashions: Tipperary

Model: John Leahy

Model: John Leahy

1989: No frills, just thrills - A fresh-looking Leahy, his head adorned with plentiful hair, just one year into his inter-county career and his first All-Ireland of two just around the corner.

1996: No thrills, few frills - Beginning to look a little wan in yellow, Tipperary's second strip getting one of its rare outings for a league semi-final against Laois in Nowlan Park. Year ends in Munster final replay heartache against Limerick. Leahy substituted in both games.

2000: Receding hairline but still in the limelight - Utilised minimally in the league, but came good yesterday in the championship again with another vintage performance. Maybe he will yet get to wear a Louise Kennedy-designed Tipperary jersey.
