FA CUPJoe Ledley was the local hero yesterday after scoring the only goal to take Cardiff to the FA Cup final for the first time in 81 years.

The 21-year-old Welsh midfielder volleyed home the winner after nine minutes to beat Barnsley and earn a place in English football's famous showpiece against Portsmouth.

On Saturday Portsmouth's Nwankwo Kanu scored the only goal in the other semi-final to see off Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
