FORMER England captain Bryan Robson has an excellent chance of making a full recovery from throat cancer provided the disease was caught early enough, a specialist said.

Robson underwent surgery in Bangkok on March 3rd and Manchester United have confirmed specialists are optimistic about the chances of recovery.

“The laboratory report revealed a cancerous tumour, which will need further treatment. The oncologist is confident that the condition is treatable,” a club statement read.
