THE seriously injured jockey Shane Broderick (left) will be moved from Dublin's Mater Hospital to the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire at the end of the week. Broderick sustained serious neck and spinal injuries in a fall at the Irish Grand National meeting at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday. He originally had no movement from his neck down but was reported to have improved towards the end of last week.

Yesterday, Turf Club medical officer Walter Halley said: "Shane's medical condition is unchanged and arrangements are being made to move him to Dun Laoghaire at the end of the week."
