Brazilian regional club Madureira haven't been having the best of seasons so they decided it was time to act boldly and make an adventurous coaching appointment. Ready? They chose a 64-year-old by the name of An∅sio Cabral de Lima ... who is almost completely blind. Is this a problem? Nope. "I am able to see the shape of each player and to distinguish my players from the opponents, that is enough to guide my team," insisted Mr de Lima.

Club president Ivan Tenorio has given the new man his full backing: "He knows what is happening from the screaming of the public watching the game and we have one of our players in charge of describing what happens on the field."
