OLD BELVEDERE put themselves to the top of Section B in the 50 Overs League by beating YMCA for the first time in over a decade at Cabra yesterday. In a contest restricted to 25 overs a side by mid afternoon rain, YM failed by 20 runs to reach their target of 125.

After a very barren few seasons, Old Belvedere have now won three games on the trot and the main difference has been their professional from North Sydney, Glen Prouten.
