Been There

He's seems to have been around for an age but 31-year-old Paul Hogan (right) appears to have lost none of the desire

He's seems to have been around for an age but 31-year-old Paul Hogan (right) appears to have lost none of the desire. Last season he flitted between the second row and the back row and this season he may be asked to move between blindside flanker and number eight. Having joined the club in 1979 he partook in Garryowen's two All-Ireland League triumphs.

His representative career incorporated the Munster Schools, Ireland A, Ireland Development and full Ireland cap. Despite a staple diet of club rugby for almost a decade Hogan appears content to carry on at least for a little while longer.
