The 30-day ban imposed by the Clonmel stewards on Lockbeg Lass on December 8th was removed on appeal to the Turf Club yesterday and the mare's trainer and jockey had their penalties halved.

Co Cork trainer Eugene O'Sullivan had been fined £400 for using the track as a training ground and his jockey brother William banned for 28 days for making insufficent effort when Lockbeg Lass ran in a chase at the Co Tipperary track.
