Newcastle have finally completed a deal to sign Parma's Colombian World Cup striker Faustino Asprilla, the Italian club's lawyer announced in Milan yesterday.
"The negotiations are finally over. The player now belongs to Newcastle," said Leandro Cantamessa, who added that the deal had been concluded at the original price of £6.7 million.
