Women golfers and their friends will be out in force on Saturday week (May 13th) when the annual sponsored walk in aid of the Children's Hospice Home Care will be held. This is the 11th year that the golfing women of north Dublin have organised this event for this worthy cause. Last year over £20,000 was raised bringing the total for the 11 years to £205,000.

The walk starts from the Dart Station in Howth at 10.30 a.m and sponsorship cards are available from all golf clubs in the Dublin area or from the Irish Hospice Foundation at 6765599 or 086-8821859.
