ANDRE AGASSI, who was defaulted from the £666,000 RCA Championships tournament in Indianapolis on Wednesday after a ball abuse incident and cursing at the umpire, has been fined £4,000.

The Olympic champion was thrown out of his second round match with Canadian Daniel Nestor when he hit a ball into the stands. He was cited for ball abuse by chair umpire Dana Laconto.
