It was a busy weekend for Malachy Fogarty at the conclusion of the Abbeyleix Open Week. Malachy and his partner, John Phelan, won the gross in the foursomes on Friday, won by Catherine McLoughlin and Pam Westbrooke, and he triumphed on Saturday when returning nine-up in the four-ball with Donal O'Callaghan. And in Sunday's fourball he partnered Brendan Dunne to second place with 46 points, won by Ross and Ken Moore with 47 points.
