Sir, - I join with Frank Boylan (December 22nd) in commending Dick Spring and Ruairi Quinn in their enlightened and compassionate attitude in ensuring that the increase in overseas aid and the IMF low interest lending facility benefit "many thousands of the world's poorest people".
Could I ask these same gentlemen to investigate their contribution to the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and to confirm that none of our money is used for the extermination of "many thousands of the world's poorest people" through abortion? - Yours, etc.,
