Sir, – With reference to your article about the Minister for Education wishing to reduce the number of subjects in the Junior Certificate (Home News, October 21st), I am perplexed.
As a Junior Cert student, I am wondering which subjects he wishes us to drop. I think that they are all important. Does he not think that we are entitled to a broad education? – Yours, etc,
