Sir, - Can it really be true that when Mary O'Rourke's son recently joined Craig Gardener, a portrait of Michael Collins (who trained with the firm) was removed from his office wall, probably to be replaced with one of Eamon de Valera, "before the new partner could be comfortable"? ("New faces", Quidnunc, August 3rd.) Am I alone in being shocked by this? What does this augur for peace in Ireland?
