Madam, - On Monday night I watched RTÉ's documentary The Pressure Cooker, about a restaurant trying to achieve a Michelin star, and was struck by its chef's prolific use of the "F", word. When did this become the norm not to "beep out" abusive language? Not everyone wants to have this shoved at them.
This does not happen with the main broadcaster across the water, or in the US, where it appears they still have some standards. Come on, RTÉ, let's not go to rock bottom. - Yours, etc,
