Sir, – Re Achill’s Stonehenge – Achill-henge. What a pity Mayo County Council has no sense of entrepreneurship.
Surely instead of looking to demolish Achill-henge (Home News, December 7th) it should be placing a plaque on it with the inscription: Tomb of the Celtic Tiger? Some tourist attraction? It might make money for the council coffers rather than costing. – Yours, etc,
