Sir, – When I complain about a bad shot while playing golf, a fellow player can be relied on to remark: “Many a person six feet under would love to be out here today playing bad golf.”
I’m delighted to read that more than 8,000 souls will be given the opportunity to be permanently on the golf course (“Tetrarch secures permission for cemetery on old Citywest golf course”, Business, September 9th).
