Broken lifts and train stations

Sir, – Every lift in every railway station should be in proper working order. This is a vital service for people with mobility issues, visually impaired people, and people pushing children in buggies who wish to use public transport.

This issue has been unacceptable for a long time, with little recent improvement. – Yours, etc,
