An editorial in last Monday’s edition, concerning culture, said that Fine Gael and the Labour Party can take credit for establishing the first full-time ministry for culture.
In fact, it was a Fianna Fáil and Labour Party coalition in 1993 which included the first minister for arts, culture and the Gaeltacht.
