A juvenile who stabbed a 15 year old boy walking home from a disco was sentenced to 15 months detention at Dundalk Circuit Court yesterday.
The juvenile admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 15 year old victim was walking home on North Street, Drogheda on May 28th, 1994 when the defendant challenged him to a fight and head butted him. He managed to escape but was caught again and stabbed in the back by the defendant.
The court adjourned sentence last year to see how the defendant behaved in the next 12 months, but he came to Garda attention in a number of incidents in recent months.
